1,000 Cranes - Landscapes of the Heart is a 30 minute solo dance piece for which no 'set' or 'stage' is required other than a floor space of 4 x 4 square metres.Due to the minimal 'stage' requirements I am able to come to you and the event can be hosted at your organization/center/residence. So whether you would like to book a performance for your organization, or for your friends or community, the focus is on Event simplicity.If you do not have access to an adequate space (which is mostly about seating requirements for the audience), I am happy to organize an alternative venue with your assistance. For instance, in the Southern Highlands, NSW, the use of a comfortable and easily accessible hall at Kazcare in Bowral is available for a minimal cost. 1,000 Cranes is suitable for both adults and young adults and while the dance theme explores the journey of emotions from innocence and joy, fear, grief, confusion and pain through to compassion and acceptance, the nature of the work is lyrical and gentle, accompanied by the beautiful and uplifting music of acclaimed Australian piano composer Fiona Joy Hawkins www.fionajoyhawkins.com.auA ten minute introductory 'talk' can be incorporated into the event, with optional time afterwards for any questions/discussion if this suits the needs of the audience.The fee is $225 per performance for an audience of up to 25, ($9 per person) when you are hosting the event. $5 extra per person when there are more than 25 persons.There is no minimum regarding audience numbers, so if you know of a group of only ten who would benefit from an uplifting and unique 'entertainment' experience do not hesitate to consider booking a performance just for them.Further fee details:If we need to hire an alternative venue, the cost for that hire will be paid for directly by your organization or added to the fee.A fee for travel expenses needs to be incorporated if travel of more than 1.5 hours by car is required from the Southern Highlands NSW, and accommodation provided if overnight/distance travel is involved.You can always get together with another group/organization/provider and co-ordinate a mixed group booking if this is appropriate for those whom you are providing the event.
